Member elected board and officers carry out the objects and purposes of MRC in accordance with the club’s Articles of Incorporation, By- Laws, and Regulations.
Maintain our overall facility and oversee new projects related to the upgrade and upkeep of our facility
Maintaining the MRC Fleet and equipment at a high standard. Track usages, anticipate needs and have multi-year plan for fleet.
Focused financial oversight. Creates and recommends budget to board for approval. Manages financial assistance processes including review and approval of applications.
Oversight of youth programs including STEM to Stern, Middle School Rowing, and the Juniors Team (high school aged).
Focused oversight for Programs and Coaches at MRC. Establishes Programs to meet the needs and ensures proper coaching within the programs.
Establish/Maintain Safety guidelines and supplies. Includes guidelines for safe rowing conditions MRC primary rowing space, the Mississippi Gorge.
Focused oversight for the MRC SafeSport initiative.
MRC is an organizational member of USRowing, a national organization. USRowing requires all member clubs to adopt a SafeSport initiative.
Analyze our operating model and consider what is needed from a funding, operations, and staffing perspective to successfully operate a ~400-member club in support of our mission.
